First keep in mind that, much like adding cold water to a warm bath, after a rain the heated pool and spa (even when operating correctly) will cool down. It will take up to several hours after a rain for the pool and spa to heat back to its normal operating temperature.
With that in mind, adjusting the temperature should be a simple matter of changing the temperature on the spa heater’s controller and waiting up to several hours for the pool/spa’s temperature to rise.
There is a controller that is built into the edge of the spa. Here are the directions for operating the pool and spa heater controller: https://vacationrentals.equisourceholdings.com/sundancespa.pdf
However, if you feel that you have adjusted the temperature correctly and waited a sufficient amount of time for it to warm up and it still feels cold, please click https://wecare.legacybeachhomes.com/maintenance-request/?property=12 (or scan the QR code on the refrigerator) and a team member will be happy to come by to assist.
Sundance’s pool light switch is located on the wall to the left of the door that leads to the pool.
These are two common pool heater codes that can be easily resolved by one of our team members.
The IF code is “ignition failure” and often happens when the heater’s pilot light is extinguished during a heavy rain.
The LO code is “low flow” which is caused when the filter gets clogged during normal use of the pool.
If you are already familiar with pool heaters, you are welcome to clear these codes. Otherwise, please click https://wecare.legacybeachhomes.com/maintenance-request/ (or scan the QR code on the refrigerator) and select “Pool heater displays IF/LO code” and a member of our team will stop by to resolve the issue.
(Note: From May 1 to September 30 you will not be able to the control the temperature because the pool is not heated between May 1 and September 30.)
